Programs

The program content is grade level appropriate and designed as an enrichment for all students in life science, earth science, physical science, the social sciences, as well as to enhance students’ mastery of a social activity in a special setting.

Volunteer
Opportunities

Volunteers are an integral part of the Zapata County Museum of History! From daily tasks to special exhibition openings, volunteers serve on a weekly, monthly or as-needed basis.

Community
Service

The Museum will serve and enrich the community by collecting, preserving, and interpreting the history of Zapata and its region through exhibitions, educational programs, lectures, publications and other community events.

The Mier Church Padrones 1782-1795.

 

This book contains the Mier padrones covering a time frame of thirteen years from 1782 to 1795 but padrones for 1792. 1793, and 1794 are missing thus only ten years are in this book. These padrones where originally written by Fr. Joseph Bernabe De Vera Buenano, Fr. Pedro Maldonado y Zapata,  Fr. Manuel Tovares y Pinto, and Fr. Francisco Davalos Palomera.Within the pages of this book you will find all the families that belonged to the parish of the Inmacula Concepcion Church of Mier, Tamaulipas, Mexico.
